Mary was such a wonderful friend to my Mother, Glady Schempp. I remember many lovely chats they had, and I was lucky enough to be included. In particular, I recall that they were both watching a telethon. Mary was so hoping that Raymond Burr would answer the phone when she called in her donation...I can't remember my Mom's preference. My condolences, Gretchen. It's so hard at this time. I know your Mom had a love for life and shared that with others. May your memories sustain you.
